Richness, Success, Fame…we may not know someone personally but hey, you might be living on a cave somewhere on the outer space if you haven’t even heard of Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Mark Cuban or maybe you’re a lot younger than I am so how about Kylie Jenner?! We all know what they all have in common to have all those 3, MONEY! Tons of them!

What I’m trying to tell you is that you can have the same feeling of richness, success, and fame without even having the need have that much $$$ with you but simply by appreciating and using what you have in you now.

They may have had it all but know you can too?! Let’s not be too hopeful here.. I’m not some Nostradamus here who’s gonna give you the next winning number in the lottery, okay!

Everything that functions around you have a use and meaning that we might not be able to have a good thought every time but by simply being GRATEFUL, THANKFUL and have a HEART FULL OF GRATITUDE, it could make you see the positive in everything and unknowingly pull all the positive energy towards you!

With all that around you and happening in your life, aren’t you gonna be and feel happy?! Won’t you be able to love your life? Won’t you be able to appreciate the people around you more?

AND WITH ALL THAT….you get to BE CONTENTED WITH YOUR LIFE. You don’t need to have everything, you just need to see and realise that you already have what you need in life. We all have been blessed, uniquely with skills and way of living. We don’t need to be like anyone else, we don’t need to compare. All we need to do is FOCUS IN SEEING THE GOOD THINGS IN OUR LIFE…AND WITH THAT, YOU’LL BE CONTENTED.

Great benefits you can get from Cold Bath

Bathing is know as an act of washing of ones body using water and soap. It’s safe to say that most of us do this at least once a day or if you live in a tropical country like Singapore, you’re most likely to do half-baths in the evening before going to bed.

By mindfully using the right water temperature, you can maximise the benefits you can get from doing something as simple as taking a bath. What am I talking about? COLD BATHS!

Cold baths are usually great to do every morning. This may sound contradicting as this is the main reason why water heater’s are so popularly sold, so you won’t get cold bathing in the morning, right?

Helps wake you up and alert

Well, our mind might think that way but that doesn’t mean we should forget the benefits what cold bath provides us and our body. Let’s start with the question, why most people take a bath in the morning?

Most will answer help wake us up, right? Then how could warm/hot baths wake help wake you up? Cold baths makes you somehow jump in the shower once the cold water hits your body and helps increase circulation that makes your body demand for more oxygen. This makes you breath deeper which without you knowing helps fight off fatigue.

Cool and intriguing, right? And that’s why you’ll feel more alive and ready to conquer your day.

Relieve itchy skin

If you have eczema like me or psoriasis, you’ll know that cold water is the go-to to relieve ourselves from frequent scratching. Cold water helps to avoid the natural oil our body creates to be stripped away from our skin that causes it to become flaky, hence, itchy.

Lessen soreness of body

This may not come a new thing to most of us as you might have seen in athletes most of the time putting ice whenever they get hurt from a game. This is also common DIY at home as we use ice packs to frozen meat for any body part we accidentally hurt to avoid it from getting swollen.

Weight loss

And if that doesn’t entice you still, then this might make you change your mind. Do you know according to some studies, cold bath can also help in weight loss. This is such a game changer!

Humans have two kinds of fatty tissues, which are brown and white fat. The Brown fat are the so-called, “good fat” that helps keep you warm when the temperature around you suddenly drops. White fat on the other hand are the fats we get from food. It’s the bad fat that’s stored in ones body that causes obesity.

Here’s how you lose weight, when you take a cold bath, your brown fat activates so your body would keep warm. This means that brown fat decreases and needs to convert body fat for it to increase again. And that’s how you start burning those calories by just cleaning your body. Amazing!
