Tiny Habits Massive Results: Book Review

Tiny Habits Massive Results: Book Review

I’ve read a lot of Self-Help books since I dived into learning more about Self-Care 4 years ago. What’s interesting though is despite the topic of taking care of ourselves being so simple, there’s still so much to talk about this, hence, books written by great intellectual authors seem not to stop!

In scouting for a new Self-Help book, and understanding more about how habits make a great impact in making our lives better, I knew, the Tiny Habits Massive Results by Jaishree Nenwani, should be taken off my to-read list.

It focuses on creating small habits that lead to big changes in life. The book is based on the concept of “tiny habits” – small actions that can be easily integrated into daily routines to create a positive change.

Here are my takeaways from it:

    1. Focus on creating small habits: According to the author, the key to success is to start with small, easy-to-accomplish habits. For example, if you want to start a new exercise routine, start by doing a single push-up every morning. This small habit will eventually lead to bigger habits.
    2. Change your mindset: To create lasting change, you need to change your mindset. Focus on positive self-talk, visualization, and gratitude to help you achieve your goals.
    3. Create habits that align with your values: Your habits should be aligned with your values and what you want to achieve in life. This will help you stay motivated and focused.
    4. Celebrate small wins: Celebrate every small win along the way. This will help you stay motivated and build momentum toward your goals.
    5. Practice self-care: Taking care of yourself is important for your overall well-being. Make self-care a habit, and it will become a natural part of your daily routine.
    6. Build a support system: Surround yourself with people who support your goals and will encourage you along the way. This will help you stay motivated and accountable.
    7. Make a plan: Create a plan that outlines your goals, the habits you want to create, and how you will achieve them. This will help you stay organized and focused.

This practical approach offers to create small habits that can lead to big changes. By focusing on small wins, changing your mindset, and aligning your habits with your values, you can achieve your goals and create a more fulfilling life.

Indeed, there’s every little thing we do is accountable to whatever we want to become in the future as an individual. This shows in every aspect of our lives whether it be in our health, finances, relationships, etc.
