Morning Routine Guide for a New Lifestyle
There is no better way to start your day than with a good routine. Here are a few tips on how to establish a morning routine that will help you get the most of your day!
Find a wake up time that works for you. If you are an early bird, waking up at 5 a.m. will be a breeze for you. If staying up late until 11 p.m. is your jam, then going to bed at 10 p/m. and waking up at 7 a.m. would work great for you! Just make sure to pick a time that works well for you and stick with it!
Start the day with a quick workout. Our bodies function better when we are physically active. Plus, it will wake you up and get you ready to take on the day!

Make a to-do list. Writing down your tasks will help to keep you organised and on top of things. I like to take a few minutes every morning to do this so that I know exactly what I need to get done that day.

Take a shower or bath in the morning. Taking a shower or bath will help to wake up your body and give you more energy for the day ahead!
Set an Intention. Starting your day with a great intention will help get you more focused on working towards a your goals and motivate you throughout the day.
Remember that there’s no one routine that works for everyone. Try which works best for you and stick with it is the rule. Experiment until you find the one that works best for you.

ohh the To-Do list is such a humble yet essential thing. I always have a to – do list or a check list to keep track of everything. This is a nicely done post.
Starting the day on a happy positive note is very important.. The tips that you have given are simple and effective.
That’s a good morning route guide. Me and my husband try to go for workout in the morning. Other than this I guess everything you mentioned I do.
I always read about bedtime routine, this was the first morning routine I’ve come across in a long time Jeannine. Apart from some of the things uv mentioned i also like to practice some deep breathing/pranayam exercises and meditation in the morning.
I Like the idea of setting an intention
I wake up very early but I sleep late, but yes I follow these to make my day better.
100% in agreement with this compilation!
Very informative and useful Post. Definitely, we need to have a proper morning routine for a healthy body and life. Agree with you here and slowly and gradually if try to bring change, we’ll get success for sure.
I am not the morning person. My schedule depends on my baby sleeping time. I do maintain to do list. Then only my day will be productive.
Jeanine, you’ve provided an excellent morning routine guide. I’m doing everything you suggested. It is true that no single routine works for everyone. We need to experiment to check what works best for us.
My morning routine does not exist but Writing down my tasks for the day ahead definitely does. I wake up each morning and take a quick shower to help me wake up. I then sit down at my desk and write out a list of tasks that I need to accomplish that day. This helps me to stay focused and organized throughout the day.
Great tips. I prefer setting up a to-do list the night before so that I can get started right away the next day. I completely agree with you. It is as much about setting a routine as it is about sticking to it. And once we find one that works for us, it makes it all the easier.
I have very busy mornings with 2 lunchboxes and breakfast preparation to be done before 7. I make it a point to put up shlokas or chants to help me focus and feel fresh.
This is a great way to start the day. I begin with a morning walk and meditation. Works well for my age.
I follow all these points to kick start my day. I specially look forward to making to do lists and ticking them off.
Simple tips reiterated nicely.
Its important to adapt to changes in life to stay fit and healthy. I am an early morning person and so understand how important is to maintain a healthy routine.
Thats a wonderful morning routine guide Jeanine. Other than the workout part I am doing everything that you mentioned. Workout I prefer doing in form of evening walk as that time suits me after a hectic day at work. Execute the things that suits your lifestyle without overlooking health aspects is something that I believe.
Changes are not easy to adapt. But with small steps it is doable. Our mind is purpose-driven. It needs a reason a purpose to get the motivation. Starting our day with an intention gives us that motivation.
