One of the easiest breakfast I love to eat when I was pregnant was this overnight oats. It’s a cup of flavorful goodness and nutrients you and your baby needs.

Aside from that it’s easy to do, it is also filling. I can last my 1-hour travel to work without getting hungry. Cause you know, pregnant women tend to always be hungry.

Well, that may be 5 years ago by now but guess what’s still in our fridge every morning???

You got that right! Overnight oats!

This easy to do meal is too easy to do that my daughters love to help me assemble everything in our mini-jars.


  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 mashed banana or 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • Add-ins such much berries your want (any berry fruit will do)


  • Place all of the ingredients in a bowl or jar and mix well.
  • Refrigerate overnight and then serve.

Oats is a high-fiber food that helps in regulating the process of digestion and improves bowel movement.

Milk and Yogurt are full of calcium that is important in the formation of bones and teeth of the fetus, and it plays an important role in a range of other bodily functions.

Bananas are a rich source of Vitamin B6 which can help cure nausea and morning sickness.

Honey is full of antioxidants and antibacterial properties that help fight infections. As medicines, while pregnant is a big no-no, it is essential to boost your immune system.
